Good Cause for Refusing Remedial Treatments

A claimaint must undergo reasonable medical procedures in order to cure his/her impairment as a condition of receiving benefits. Good cause for refusing to do this is demonstrable if the procedure is major and presents certain dangers; the physicians are not definite about the possiblity of recovery; and claimant has a genuine fear of the operation.
